I’m an oil and watercolor painter from Louisville, KY, wife to my husband, Jason, and dog mom to our golden doodle, Dex.
My love of art began in Mrs. Cusick’s six-grade art class. Many episodes of “The Beauty of Oil Painting” with Gary Jenkins later (nerdy, I know), I was pursing a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art at Wheaton College. After graduation, I began my career as a full-time artist, painting hundreds of pieces of art over the last four years.
I am most inspired by nature. I love filling my home with pieces of the outdoors. Whether it’s potted plants here and there, photos from trips to the Colorado mountains, or a floral painting above a dining room table, it always seems to provide a breath of fresh air to the space. This is why I love painting landscapes and florals. These specific subjects, in their own unique way, capture a small glimpse of heaven. Painting these moments means I get to generously offer the world a chance to step into that beauty. I hope that I can bring some of that beauty to your home!
