This collection is challenging my mindset and process as I paint. Being an enneagram 1, I find myself easily slipping back into a perfectionist way of painting, which can not only be draining but can cause a lot of hand cramps 😂

The weather was perfect today and our new deck just got finished, which means I will be painting outdoors more ☀️ This little guy started out with a completely different underpainting/sketch, but part way through I just wasn’t feeling it.
