Colorado has a special place in my heart, but Frisco, Colorado specifically is very special to my husband and his family. I had a chance to stay at his grandma’s condo with a few friends, and one chilly early morning I stepped out side onto the frosted grass and saw this view. I was immediately drawn to the contrast between the warm green and brown fall tones and the cool blue hues in the mountains. This painting was born out of that moment!
